According to your own ministrys data,Delhi, accounts for more incidents than Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta put together. The category of serious crime ranges from theft, robbery ,decoity ,rape murder ,kidnapping etc. The most alarming situation is that women are the prime targets of these criminals. Whether it is housewife ,a young student or a working women, nobody feels safe in this city.We , the women s organizations of Delhi not only feel very concerned about this situation but hold you directly responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation as it is under your ministry. The central government has attained such a notorious reputation of not being able to protect common citizens, particulary women and children. The callousness of law enforcing authorities and the open patronage extended to criminals is squarely responsible for creating a sense of fear and helplessness amongst ordinary citizens.
