BJP ideologue are confident that they will be in the coming years able to "assimilate the bases of the allies and partners along with our bases". Negating the argument that BJP will be in disadvantages position because they will not be contesting all the seats alone and that they will have to part away with number of seats. A senior BJP leader and the ideologue said that although we are fighting the election under single manifesto, one leader and joint campaigning it is ultimately the party which will be able to reach in new areas. He was candid to admit that initially the BJP and sangh parivar was hesitant to go for alliance with so many parities having divergent views. Therefore last year our achievement was that we were able to remove the tag of untouchable party , now in the 13 months this parties learnt from their own experience that they can depend on us. Moreover, congress recent stance that they will not support other, not form coalition in this era of coalition politics have immensely helped us to keep this parties together and in our alliance. Now as the things stand today that congress is not able to attract alliance and becoming virtually untouchable for many third front parties. He said our line of progress will be --cooperation, coalition and assimilation.

According to him, BJP and it allies are expecting to win about 300 seats. Asked how he said that as there will be joint campaigning this time along with our allies, we will be able to attract those votes which were earlier not coming to us, moreover, the caste votes and regional linguistic votes of this parties will also come to us and in those seats where we stood second this will help as to cross the earlier winning party. He said they have gone seat by seat and there is about 80 such seats.

When asked giving away their main plank of article 370, uniform civil code and ayodhya temple, that is hindutva will not cost them dearly, the think tank said on the contrary we will increase our vote. He said we would have lost some of our hindu base if there would have any other hindu party, He said Shiv Sena is not planning at least for the time being to built of all India party and congress harping on Hinduism. Therefore this voter had no other option other than BJP. Moreover, we will able to win over that section of liberal, undecided voter who will think that BJP is changing.

When asked by a correspondent is really BJP is changing as it is giving away the controversial issue, he said we will be saying that as the 1998 mandate was for five years we stand by the 1998 manifesto of the BJP to explain the disruptive role of BJP and left to bring done the government.

When asked whether the Sonia’s nationality will be made an election issue by BJP, he smiled and said that we are going for election. In the top level the "mascot" will say that we do not want to raise the issue of Sonia’s nationality but in the grass root level that is the issue. He said that we had made an survey in some of the place where intellectuals and progressive people assembled and we have found out that even among them many are not be able to accept that a foreigner would rule us. He said not only that our main concentration of campaign will be on the line--- deshi- swadeshi- bedshi.

Asked whether this campaign against Sonia will cut any ice and if it cuts how much-- the BJP think tank said that it will be in the proportion what was it in 1996 when many of us tried to project Babu Jagjivan Ram as prime minister , it went down to Brahmin in different way, they started campaigning that earlier, we had given shoes in the leg of chamars, clothes to them now we want to put them above your head. The impact of this camping was such that high castes votes shifted to Congress. I think this will be a like that.

Asked about the way BJP is seeing the Samata parties decision to unite some small parties and make a single party. It is good many of the those forces which otherwise would not have listen to us and comeover our side welcome under that umbrella

He said that the BJP campaign strategy has more or less finalized. Upto 15th May leaders of the BSF and allies will be taking around the country explaining the manner in which the way Vajpayee government was dethroned. From 15th May to June 15 th one month, when there will be heatwave in many parts of the country we will concentrate to gear up the organization and through sang parivar NGO’s do house to house campaigning. From 15th July -- the raining season-we will be having constituency level meetings convention and booth committee meetings. From 15th August the real campaign for election will start it will continue till election.

He hinted that the indepdendece rally will also be used for projecting the party and the government.

The immediate task of the organizations have more or less be identify, work is going on to narrow down the differences between the BJP manifesto and National Agenda. Those issues which can be accommodated from the BJP manifesto in the National Agenda will be tried to be included after discussion with our allies. Other issues will be left out.

Secondly, during the revision of voters rolls it has to be ensured that all BJP voters is enrolled.
Thirdly ,special efforts to be made for the postal ballot votes.

Fourthly a media workshop will be soon organized. In which representatives from the state connected with media cell will attend and eminent media personalities sympathetic to BJP will be there to guide. The purpose is to improve the media relations in different states. To guide them how to handle print and electronic media. How to prepare for a press conference, panel discussion how the leaders should be briefed etc before press conference etc.

It has also been discussed that in the remaining time efforts has to be made to see that the various programs taken by the government is implemented etc,
