The telecom workers of the country will observe a nationwide strike on February 15. The strike has been called to protest the Centre’s decision to convert the DTS into a corporation and privatise the telecom services. The five unions involved in the movement have said that there will be massive campaign throughout the country preceding the strike and that this token strike will have to show a way to the solution to the long-standing demands of the unions in the telecom sector.
