Statute change to be opposed:Basu
The West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu has said that the country should
stand united behind the move against changing the Constitution of India since the BJP was
yet again trying to fragment the nation on the basis of religion. The chief minister said
that he did not understand on what basis the BJP government was keen on a review of the
Constitution and that he firmly believed that this was just a ploy to divide the nation
yet again on matters religious. |
